Default Running rich with 440cc/min at idle...anyone else?

With 440cc/min injectors, Apexi AFC fully retarded, inline fuel pump off, factory regulator, factory ECU, timing at +19, my B18C5 runs fairly rich at idle. Does anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

Is that thing turboed? 19 degress timing...way too high for a turbo car.

If you are using the factory regulator, un-modded, you need to drop the base fuel pressure to idle them 440s with a modded regulator or an aftermarket one. 19 degrees?

It is 19 degrees at idle. I have it retarded as boost increases.

Probably gonna need aftermarket engine management if its still running rich. Definitely retard your timing. You can try lowering the fuel pressure if you put a aftermarket fuel regulator, that might help.

I'll try an AEM regulator, but for the time being it's good to have the timing advanced at idle. It will burn up the extra fuel and won't be so sluggish.

According to my almost accurate calculations, you should be @ 20psi at idle (with vaccuum connected) with the 440s and a fuel controller. The actual pressure I got is 14psi to have a 440 injector flow like a 250cc at 43psi. You don't want to go any lower than 20psi in vaccuum though......
