Default Idle up and down with fuel regulator connected

so I have a turbo b16a and it idles funny goes up and down but once I unhook the fuel pressure regulator it idles fine and drives good but if it's connected it goes from like 1000rpm down to like 200 anyone know what it could be? Thank you

You need to adjust it, so that idle recovers. If it's a good brand, it can work to allow your pressure tip be normal

the fact that it's turbo means it must have been tuned at some point. or it might be running a basemap, which is NOT a tune. either way, it sounds like idle afr is super lean. which overall means you really need to get it tuned.
as for adjusting the fuel pressure, do adjust it according to how it runs. adjust it according to a gauge to a proper pressure spec. best to have your tuner do this, followed by a complete tune.

yes the car was tuned and with the vacuum hose connected to the regulator it idles up and down like if it had vacuum leak but when I unplug hose it idles perfect the wideband is reading good and runs good
