I have a problem after I did my h22 sawp into my 99 civic. After installing the cable shiftlinkage from the prelude I had to cut holes for the linkage to work with the car. After the motor has been installed I encountered pretty bad carbon monixde problem in the car. but really bad after the engine check light goes on. anyone can relate? or help me with this problem?

 

Take the console off (if you have it covering the shifter) and put some insulation and/or duct tape to cover up the open gap for the shifter so there's basically no open pockets between the cab and the ground. Just by closing that up and putting the stock console back on (to cover it up), that should make the difference right there.

How do you know is carbon monoxide when it is colorless, odorless, tasteless.

true. I had the same problem too, but mine was open header at the time, and it was the exhaust fume that got me all light headed and high But it went away after i installed my exhaust system back on.
