Default where to buy alternator

my alternator just went out and i'm having trouble finding a replacement
i guess i would need 1 from a 94 prelude vtec w/ h22

you can usually get them rebuilt for pretty cheap if you look around.

ok i don't think i need an alternator now
i charged the battery overnite and put it back on and got the car home
it runs fine now but the damn battery light stays on
what would cause this?

Well, if not search it on here, there has been three threads with them on, and by the way, Autozone or the local reputable auto store MUST have one or two. Get the warranty and call it a day!!

Just because you charged your battery doesn't mean you fixed the issue. Just remember, when you charged the battery, you did the job of the alternator.

How does your alternator belt look??

i checked advanced auto and they have 1 for $214
seems kinda expensive

the dude at advanced was off a lil bit on his price
i got it for $80 with turning my old one in
the car runs fine now
i took my wheels off to clean them and the jack fell and the car came down ontop of my foot
