Default How are you BUILT?

Turbo guys,
i have a 95 LS motor. i think it's about time for a rebuild. For those of you with rebuilt motors, what kind of set up are you using?Pistons, rods, sleeves, crank????

SRP Pistons, Eagle Rods, ARP Headstuds, Golden Eagle blockguard with stock sleeves, ZEX 105300 cam and valvesprings.

illuzions...you to0k a b18c1 and lowered it to the compression of an LS?? wouldn't it have been better to use an LS, or was there an advantage of the c1?

ls and gsr engines are different. just b/c i got 9.1 pistons doesnt mean i have a ls block now. still got the vtec head. its just many people who want to 'eventually' run high boost will go lower CR just to be able to have that margin of error in tune,bad tank of gas, whatever it may be. pound for pound and all else equal, power in b18c1&gt;b18b

Darton "MID" series sleeves sending my blocks off soon.

ACL bearings
knife edged crank

still have to order my rods, pistons going to end up at about 10.2:1 compression with 30psi

and a few other secrets that i won't mention

I haven't gotten it on a dyno yet... I'm waiting on a J&S safeguard before I really push the motor. fastludeh22 made 450hp @ 19lbs. last week on a similar setup, though.

I love my J&S.

I am soon to be runing putar rod, je or cp 9:1, benson sleve, acl bearing, apr head stud, and hks gasket. Hope she will hold
