My cousins civic si (canandian) with the D16Y8 is loosing oil. He had a oil change dun a week and half ago and now his level is a little below the bottom hash mark on the dipstick. he's puffin smoke at high RPM but other then that it seems fine. there are no visable leaks in the engine bay. anyhelp or thoughts of what it is would help. thanks

At least he explained his problem in a coherent mannar and used punctuation.
How many miles (Km) does it have? Sounds like the engine might be getting tired. How many miles since the oil change? Has it ever burned oil before now? Most hondas do, I know my Y8 goes through 1/2 - 1qt between oil changes.
Check the bottom of the oil fill cap, see if there's any foam or residue. Do a compression test, and if you have compressed air available, a leakdown test. That should narrow things down a bit for you.
