Default shift **** install

Hey, a friend of mine bought a Momo shadow for her ITR, and loves the shift ****, but hates the fact that the boot sits down on the shifter. Does anyone have anytricks to hold the shift boot up?

Take off the centre console, get a small jubilee clip or something to clamp onto the shift lever at the point you want the boot to sit at (obviosly it'll have to be wider than the opening in the top of the boot) then put the console back on, screw on the **** and ta da...boot dont fall down anymore!

You can just get under the boot and put a rubberband looped a lot of times. As long as its too big for the top of the boot to fall over it'll stay. Mine lasted 2 years before I tried to take it off and it descentegrated.

Get a momo boot. They have threads at the top of the boot that will go over the allen screws and take the place of the bottom ring cover on the ****. This will attach the boot to the bottom of the **** and eliminate any gap.

I just used a zip tie. Just tighten it around the point that you want the boot to stop, and cut off the excess. It will stay forever.

when you guys say use the elastic band do you mean on the outside or the inside of the boot, because how would it work on the inside. I like the nut idea so far.
