I have the PLX M500 and the datalogging is excellent. It's $500 though. If you use Uberdata, version 1.6666 has good datalogging and the M300 will work good.

Uberdata has datalogging built in. All you need to do is remove your stock o2 sensor, disable the o2 heater circuit in the ECU, then run the wideband output from the PLX M300 to the o2 input on the ECU. You would then connect your ECU to a laptop or other PC for Datalogging. You can make my USB cable for less than $15. Look Here: http://www.pgmfi.org/phorum/re...t=521 and here: http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata/forum/

to datalog with an innovative you need to buy a bunch of other stuff
-325 for the kit
-90-100 for the splitter with 5 channels
-20 rpm pickup
then it saves the info and you can open it on any computer and look at the air fuel per rpm and throttle...I might buy the plx or a techedge...i dont like how big the innovative is or the small display..

Actually, datalogging has improved with their latest version of LogWorks. As for the $20 RPM pickup, that's only required if you're not pulling the data from the ECU (RPM/ICU wire). I have mine connected directly to the ECU and the readings are dead on. Also logging MAP, TPS and IAT.

I keep the Innovate in the glove box, and use my Autometer gauge as display (configurable serial output 0-1V). I will be purchasing their own 2 1/16" gauge when it becomes available within the month, which will have digital readout and a single button which will control the following:

- single click to start/stop record
- hold down for 2 sec to reset log
- double-click to review min/max holds

Overall, I'm very happy with the unit, for a price you can't beat.

By pulling the signal directly from the ICM wire off the ECU. I do not have the RPM converter grounded, as that seemed to skew the values. Configured using the setup button and holding the engine at around 2000 RPM.

The RPM values with the Innovate match those retrieved from an OBD II scan tool.

I've heard that that is how people have gotten it to work. The problem is, I had the GND going to sensor ground at the ECU harness. I would like to use the sensor ground for the sensors, but alas, it does not appear that I will be able to do that.
