i have wrapped a chain the whole way around the block, used motor mounts, used the hook where the manifold bolts to and the rear bracket.

there is a threaded hole in the back of the head on the drivers side (14mm bolt) put a large bolt on there with the chain attached. run the other chain to the transmission. there SHOULD be a gold colored bracket thats pretty obviously got a setup for a hook to go on it. run the chain down to it then attach it with a bolt and a nut.

that is the "proper" way honda reccomends.

It's best to get at least 3/4 attachments going. behind the head, transmission bracket, and there should be one on the front of the block near where the exhaust attaches....

Instead of a chain, we use a heavy duty tow rope with the clips on it. You can just unscrew one of the tranny bolts and clip the hook to it. Same thing on the other side. The rope doesn't scratch up the head either.

it is easier with the transmission installed.
