Default advantages/disadvantages of Full-Race Style set up??

ok i see a few of the guys runnin the full race kit now with the bov right on the cooler. Although i do not have a full-race kit, i was wondering the advantages or disadvantages of getting my apexi cooler made into the "backdoor" intercooler. It wouldnt be too hard to weld on another inlet and use the one there for the tial bov.

im runnin a SFP manifold and my inlet pipe on the hot side will probably be alittle longer and run up alittle higher to the turbo.. . i dont see that making any difference. ?
