Default How to "tighten slack in steering"

My steeting seems to have slack in it. Like its not calibrated right, seems like it feels real light, and has a lot of play in it. Any way to fix this? Just the latest of my suspesion problems

thanks

check your bearing and steering play, most likely it will be the inner and/or outer tie-rods, lift up the front end with the tires off the ground and shake the wheel up and down to check for bearing play, shake it side to side for tie rod end play, have someone shake it while you check to see/feel any movement

on my crx, 2 of the bolts holding the steering rack in place loosened themselves out...that really made steering vague and off center.
