Default o2 sensor problems, yet again

lsvtec with preobd wiring. I have the sensor setup as to use 1 for 2(hacked it basically). Weird problem is that I get the o2 sensor code, and the car will not idle by itself, jerks violently and sputters as if it is really lean or really rich, but after driving for 4 hours at 80+ the thing acts normal, but the next morning symptoms reoccur. Can the o2 sensor actually cause this? What is even more weird is that I disconnected the knock sensor and the vtec still ENGAGED, is that even possible, thought vtec was dependent on the knock sensor, oil pressure and a something else.

What ecu are you using? Where are the O2 sensors located?

The knock sensor will throw a code, but it will not put the ECU into "limp mode".

Sorry, nonobd pr3, the o2 sensor is located in the factory position, using just one for both o2 pins at the ecu. Yeah, I think it was a code 2 and 23. Thanks for your help.

C'mon someone has to know something about this, before I get mad and buy a new motor.
