who is running low 13's or 12's on a sohc-T with 10-11psi?
I think i need a new turbo and want a good available power band and 10-11 psi max.
i was looking at a t3 50trim........42/.63
cause i want quick spooling and atleast 215 to the wheels
so what turbo are you guys using.....13.5's or less is fast enough for me

it loses a couple of psi when it approaches 6000 rpms but its nothing too horrible. it's a descent cheap turbo but ill take a t3 over it any day...

Also the t3 60 trim .60/.48 takes a lil longer to spool, but the power is good, and keeps pulling up top.

got a built d16z6 pushing 12lbs on a t3/t04e 60 trim .48 ar on hot side. i get 12lbs by like 4k with a manual boost controler. its really pretty freaking sick. not happy with it but i gota12.6 at 110 last week. i'd like lower 12's on 12psi and some 11's on 20

a T3/T4 on a Z6 will be pritty laggy without alot of head work and a hella cam. I'd sugesst a T3 "Super" 60, they are around $400 on ebay, do a search for them on their
i bought mine off graphiteaccord here on ht. i paid like 375 shipped for it or something. i have a jg head, so that may have something to do with it spooling as fast as it does. i dont know. either way, the thing ******* rocks. it wouldnt spool till almost 6k before i put the mbc on it. now it just flies.
if you go for a to4e comp, make sure you ge a smaller tubine housing for quick spooling

i pulled a 13.3@106 with shitty firestone tires on hx rims.. the setup was a stock z6 with a custom tubular manifold, greddy td05-18g turbo, johnnyracer fmic, 2.25 crush bent dp, stock cat, 2.25 n1 exhaust, xs mbc, and afc hack... this was done at a track that is 2000ft above elevation.. 2.2 60ft times.. it was running 12lbs of boost.. it was an old motor so it blew on the second run.. i ran it hard for about 7 months over 10lbs street driven.. it had blowby, so i figured i would just blow it at the track and see what it would pull.. second run pulled a 13.5@95 after i blew the motor..

umm.. well.. when i first installed the mbc, the boost wasn't turning up as i turned it up.. duh.. well anyways.. so i tightened the wg, and left the mbc where it was.. well.. that morning after i did it, i drove it to work and i tested it.. 16-17psi! ahh!! oh ****.. haha.. so after that it had blowby.. it ran strong but i just fucked it up on accident.. it lasted another 2-3 months still after that.. well.. yea.. anyways.. there u go..
