t3 turbo!!
depends on your driving habits/power cravings. a .48/.60 is good for street use and faster spool, but won't make as much power as a .60/.63. I'd say get a .60/.63 because you're gonna want more power as you progress anyway. I started off with a .42/.48 and now i'm regretting it!! although i just bought a .60 compressor/wheel/plate setup and will be turning my current turbo into a .48/.60. I really wish i had a t3/t4!!

with the .42/.48 i started boost @ 2000-2100 and was at full at 3800-4100(9psi). I'm not sure about the .48/.60 as i have yet to try. another reason why i may be spooling so early is because i'm running a MP Racing equal length racing manifold. as you can imagine, i have no traction whatsoever when i'm running.
my turbo setup is a homemade turbo kit...some of the parts i bought and one or two parts were given to me. the manifold i bought from a friend who blew his ls/vtec turbo and needed money to rebuild his car for show. i got it from him for $200 which i thought was a good deal. and i think the total of my turbo setup costed a lot less than buying a brand new kit....i believe i spent around $1700 for everything. but this includes all gauges and a decent fuel management (afc hack).
oh and i've decided to just wait and get a T3/T4 instead of fixing my current turbo. they've got some decent ones on ebay for a fair price.
