Default Can I get a strait through 3" exhaust to still be semi quiet and sleeper like?

I'm currently driving around open downpipe 120mi a day to work and back so anything is better than it is now lol. My hatch is very low key, except for being loud, stock body, 14 inch steelies, stock height, and my goal is to keep it that way. I don't want every every body questioning/bothering me about the car and the exhaust is a major tip off since I'm a essentially a rolling whistle

Right now I'm planning on going with a Kteller 3" mandrel bent setup with a 22" resonator and a 3" in/ex Oval ES style muffler (will be painted black with no tip). Will this provide me a good performing setup while not tipping everyone off that I'm turbo, or is that just impossible with a 3" exhaust? I'm really thinking the resonator will help in this regard and should suppress much of the turbo whine. Any input will be appreciated.

I'm in the same boat with my 1993 Turbo hatchback and would like to keep the car as quiet as possible but at the same time not kill my performance. I was thinking of the exact same exhaust setup so anyone with any personal experience please let us know. Thanks.

This is what my DSM sounds like with a straight-through 3 inch exhaust. It has a straight-through drilled core muffler as a resonator under the can, and a edelbrock RPM series muffler at the back. Flows great, sounds great.

It's about 150k.

The exhaust is not "droney" on the highway at all.

Good enough for me.
