you wont want to use his tranny, its hydraulic and you would have to convert yours since its a cable tranny. the motor will bolt right in using the DX stock mounts. you can run it using the pm6 and a vtec switch of some sort, or convert to obd1 and run a p28.. there are a few other options too but arent as popular

these guys have you going in the right direction. you will need to use a cable tranny, and you'll need to activate the vtec. you can get a zdyne ecu or, i believe there are wiring harness conversions that you can use. also if you the have the d15b2 i think it's dpfi and you'll have to convert to mpfi. you'll hear this over and over, use search.

im surprised he sold you his harness, thats a pretty important item to do a b16 swap.

well if this was me i would search and find out if there was anyway to convert the y8s obd2 dist into a obd1 dist. if there was then i would convert my car to obd1 and then go buy a p28 ecu. or unless your watn to stay obd0 then you gota go find a complete si manifold and dist and ecu. of you could just stick you dpfi intake system on the y8 and just run dpfi.

i bet your could find someoen who would be willing to trade you this z6 dist and ecu for your dist and ecu. obd1 is better then obd2
