engine swap question . . .
How easy, or how hard would it be to fit a 2000 DX hatchback engine into a '97 Acura Integra GSR? I need an engine for about a month and a half while my engine is getting built, and I have an extra DX motor at my house I want to use. What if any extra parts would I have to purchase in order to make this work? Any suggestions would be great...thanx in advance.

Both are OBD2 so that's good. You might get CEL's since the motor is not VTEC-equipped, unless you also have a DX computer to use.

i can tell you right now if you dont have the motor mounts for the civic motor you need to get them before you can do that swap. the integra and civic motors have completely different motor mounts.

sorry just read that you had the mounts for the civic engine so it should just fit right in. there will always be little things that go wrong involved but they should be very minor.
