i got a p28 ecu but i dont have the si harness, how can i use my stock dx harness and run a cheater line from the siloniod to the ecu so the vtec will engage?

 

not sure if the DX harness has vtec or not but if it does not u need to run a wire to the D6 spot and to the A6 spot i believe. Correct me if im wrong i just forget what lines need to go there

 

you basicaly said what you need to do. use your dx harnes and run a 2 new wires to the engine from the ecu. one will need to go to oil press sensor, and one for vtec. the third wire is a ground on the sensor. the vtec oil pressure switch is pin c14, and the solenoid is pin a15. hope this helps.

 

it a4= vtec soleniod, d6= vtec pressure switch.
