hey guys i have a 94 dx hatch that i put a z6 motor in. i have the p28 but i need to add wires for the vtec oil pressure sensor and the vtec solenoid. how exactly do i do this?

if there is no wires for Vtec on the DX harness then yes you will have to add it other wise vtec will not work

search, but I won't be dick take vtec solenoid wire and run it to the A4 plug (make sure you get some harness plugs) take vtec pressure switch run one wire to the ground (good place is thermostat housing bolt, doesn't matter which wire you use), take the second wire from vtec pressure switch and run it to the D6 plug (use ECU harness plug, just like for vtec solenoid).

Wait. What? I did the first two wires, but what's the D6? What's that about? I don't remember doing that.

A4 and D6 just refers to the pin location on the ecu plugs. but basically you want to find a donor pin and add a wire to it and then stick the pin into those pin locations. A4 to the VTEC solenoid and D6 to the VTEC pressure switch.
