no u will need the b series wiring harness..
obd 1 or obd2..
if you have a single cam vtec wire harness..u might be able to use it.
and u need a p30 ecu or chipped p28 ecu

You can wire it up using your dx harness and just wire vtec in. but if you run a vtec ecu without wiring vtec your car will have CEL and might not run properly. but it will run

SLIGHT difference. Obviously. In this particular harness, there isn't any wiring for VTEC. Plug in everything else, and either spend the time to wire VTEC into the stock harness or just run different wires that are needed to the ECU.
I was forced to run my swap without VTEC for a little while, but didnt cause any running problems. Might have been a little rich, but nothing to be overly concerned about.

Re: b16 swap wireing info? (ICC_Texas)
well what to you guys think will be the easiest to do. i will be getting a Jdm b16a2 odb 1 same as car. complete changeover. Im pretty sure i can use all the parts that come with the swap on my car right? because others are telling me i need acura shift linkage and what not. is this true?
also will just wiring up the wire harness i will have that comes with the swap be easier then me wiring vtec?
ps. im soppose to use the ecu that comes with the swap right? whats the name of that ecu
