i just rebuilt my ls motor and its smoking alot. i have a turbo on the motor but am not sure if its the turbo or the car that is smoking. i did a compression check and its 190 all across... i have only driven it like 40 miles and the oil is super thin and black...help with some suggestions please

What does it smell like? unburnt gas perhaps?

 

What do you mean when you said rebuilt ls? Did you get new pistons new rods block girdle what? What oil are you using synthetic or non synthetic? What method did you use to brake in your motor? How many layer head gasket are you using, and is it after market or stock? Is the head sitting on the block flush? Did you mill the head? Where is the smoke coming from... you have to be more specific... bro…

 

black is probably fuel. Timing, stuck injector, dunno

 

you know what the smoke is kind of white

 

how did you rebiuld it did you put new pistions in it if you did you might have put the rings on upside down.

 

the only way to fix it is to give me your turbo
