I have a 95 civic cx with a d16z6 out of an Si in my car no fuel system mods just the Greddy 15g kit, and the blue box. I am currently running 5.5 psi so the map shouldn't be putting my ecu in limp mode, but I am throwing a code 3 which is; Open or short in MAP sensor circuit, defective MAP sesnor. Now if it was reading boost at the map sensor wouldn't it throw a code 5? So is my map bad or what? It is running so rich, that my plugs are wet. Help really needed my car barely runs...
Double check your connections and make sure the green and white wires coming from the blue box are connected to the right wires. If you used wire taps make sure it actually penetrated the wires. I initially had the same problem as you and the problem was with the wire tap not penetrating one of the wires. Solder the wires if you want to make sure you don't have a faulty connection.
If all else fails reconnect the MAP sensor wire that you cut for the blue box and see if it runs off the stock ECU. That will tell you if the MAP is bad or not. Good luck.
