Default turbo car won't pick up when vtec kick in

Hi, like i said my car won't pick up when vtec kick in. It feels like i'm redlineing but i'm only at 5000 rpm. I check if it was a boost leak but it wasn't. Any idea what this can be??

where do you have the oil feed line for the turbo connected..

some people run it off the front of the head near the header and vtec solinoid....thats a NO NO...oil pressure there isnt consistent. and when vtec is engaded the turbo sucks all the oil away from it...

let us know exactly how you have everything run(installed) easier to answer with details

The oil line is installed next to to oil filter where it should be or could it be that i'm low on oil i just check. Is that why i'm going to put in some oil and take it for a test drive and see what happens..

that was my next suggestion...

to little oil in a stock vtec car will make the vtec not engaged.... and in a turbo car since it has to feed the turbo too....

check that let us know
