Garrett t28... Internal wastegate or not?
I searched and came with no answer.
I bought a Garrett T28 and the guy that a bought it from said it had an internal wastegate. I don't trust the guy so can some tell me whether or not that turbo has an internal, because I don't want to blow anything else on my car (long story)

the wise man speaks....
if that was the way thing really were...the turbo charged auto world would all be running T-66 turbos(or whatever the hot number is now), but there not.
and most turbos on hondas are oversized people like the fact that they can suck up small woodland creatures in them, and they dyno with mad power...but doesnt make them better. its all about what the end project is goind to be used for.

I'll add to the smackdown .... slap!
That is a retarded comment. That's a decent sized turbo for a D series, even good for B series if you want a powerful car but aren't looking to own the strip.
The motors Nissan uses those on are potent as hell, even with the "crappy stock" turbo.

I hate morons. I had a Nissan Pulsar GTi-R T28 (.60a/r T3 compressor 60 trim wheel, .86 a/r turbine w/ 79 trim wheel) on my B20 and it made 210hp@6psi 190tq. 175tq from 3500 rpm. That turbo was incredible. People like you inspired me to do it. Thanks!
