Default why use external wastegate?

i am curious if people can get a turbo manifold and turhbo that has a internal wastegate, why would people choose to spend more money and get a external wastegate? what is the advantage of doing this? i found a t3/t4 turbo kit but it has a internal wastegate should i get it?

i would go with that. IMO: external wastegate can hold more boosts and eliminate boost creeps.
