Default Got some time slips tonight.

94 LS with 138k on the clock. I/H/E...stock cat.
removed PS belt
removed AC
removed rear seats/carpet/board/lid
Exel 17's, 38 pounds with tire a piece, wrapped in Ventus HR2's
Launched at 5000 RPM
60-2.252
330-6.40
1/8-9.858
1000-12.814
1/4-15.30@89.32 MPH

My last run I launched at 5500rpm, missed 3rd gear but I had a 2.23 60' time, and 6.30 330' so I think I might of pulled a decent 15.1-15.2 but I just had to miss frikken 3rd gear.
This was my first time at the track, I'm proud of the car, it did great.

I had nearly same setup a year ago in my LS. If you wanna see alot of improvement, sell the 17's and get some 16's. I like 16's cuz theyre the best of both worlds theyre lighter then 17's yet still look decent. 15's are the lightest but they look to small for me. When i threw the lightweight 16's on the difference was night and day. I had 17in motegi mr7's with ventus hr-2's. Those rims wer literaly cinderblocks they wer so damn heavy.

For your first time at the track those are great 60ft times.

With more practice and lighter rims I think you could hit high 14's with a really good run. Thats very impressive for an LS with those mods on it.

i bet with some lightweight 15" rims and some stickie tires ie 555R's or G-Force TA you would pull a 2.0 or 2.1 60ft and run a 14.8-14.9

You went to Crapitol? Me and my friends usually try to go to the track down past easton. It is a bit far but, it is way better than capitol.

My friends and I are usually up Severna park and Glen Burnie area. We have probably seen you before.

I think I'm going to go to the track next friday, gonna drop the PSI from 24 to 20, and launch at 5500 RPM...and at least one of the times, I shouldn't miss 3rd gear...and I'll be posting up a better time. My last run's 60 and 330 times were yielding a very nice 1/4 time...I'm gonna go and shoot for 14.99...I'll let you all know how it goes.
