Went to the track today! im happy this time! =)
Went to the track today in complete street trim.. Spare tire, jack, tools, helmet(JIC), back seats, 17's and stock tire pressure(27psi)..
well this time im not dissapointed, i just need some practice.. tell me what u think
run 1:
R/T .634
60' 2.561
330 6.296
1/8 9.429
mph 81.82
1000 12.051
1/4 14.257
mph 102.37
launched at 2800 and bogged, explains the horrible 60ft.. but I beat a mustang GT
2nd run:
R/T .853
60' 2.397
330 6.207
1/8 9.281
mph 81.01
1000 11.967
1/4 14.257
mph 99.10
2nd run I launched a whole lot better but it still wasnt up to par.. If u notice my 1/8 was .2 seconeds faster then the first one.. I think this was my 13 sec run or deep 14.0 run had I not hit the rev limiter in third
and then missed 4th gear, thats why I lost 3mph.. anyways I still beat a Z28(LS1) although he got loose in 2nd(Damn RWD hehe)
my 1/4's were identical, crazy poo poo.. Anyways Im happy with what I ran, I know my car has potential for high 13's in complete street trim on only 7psi and w/ the 17's.. and ive still got a few more tricks waiting in my bedroom for there day of install..
oh yeh, kinda dissapointed Flamenco-T didnt come but he was busy SLEEPING all day.. anyways my friend did alright in his JRSC GSR too, 14.1 @ 101, his best is 13.7@102 but He just got it back from a blown motor and is just getting used to it again.. anyways I just wanted to mention that, I have a nasty fever and feel like poo, Im goin to bed.. day overall!
oh yeh I only got two runs in cause there ware almost 1000 cars there, I waited in line for 1 1/2 hour each time before the runs.. but I got to see some crazy cars.. Mustang GT w/ a T66 and a FMIC, a T88 supra that ran at 135mph, and corvettes and LS1's outnumbered the imports 10:1..

i saw you out there. very nice running. Damn fight broke out at the track stupid crazy people. But anyways nice run. I didnt bring the civic out since all i needed was chassis certification. At least i got to watch everythign for free. cant beat that.

Your trap speed is good for some 13.4-13.5's
Get some goddam slicks and ditch the 17s...
1.9 60ft would put ya at a 13.4 your first run.
Also, your probably needing some tuning, and you'll be in the 12's.

I'm happy for you Chris I was with him yesterday at the track and got both runs on tape. It was awesome! Newayz congrats on your times Chris and maybe for Street Race night at Ennis we could switch rims and see if you run faster on the GSR's with Nitto's.

could u list ur setup???? i have a 2000 ex 5spd i am about to greddy turbo and i have an awesome setup ready to buy. Could u list ur setup in detail? and what u r wanting or gettting to put u into the 13s. i hope i have the setup to get into the 13s even if it is a 13.9.

I think I coulda hit 13's yesterday w/ the car as is if I coulda just gotten a low 2.3 launch.. only got 2 runs since the track was so crowded..
my set up is Revhard stage 2 kit on LS integra.. 3" thermal and ACT clutch.. 7psi

Awesome man! You just need to get some runs in....that is one CROWDED track.
