Ok, I have a d16y8 that i swapped into my del sol. I can be at a stop light, take off in first, and everything is fine, but when i shift into second gear, i can be going down the road and my cars tranny will pop out of second and go into neutral, what is wrong with my car? Please help soon!?!?!?

Check clutch & tranny fluid. My brother's car does the same, so he ordered an Exedy kit.

synchros wont make it pop out of gear...sounds like a shift fork problem or shifter assembly inside the tranny.

I've seen bad clutches cause this also...but you'll need to take a look at the tranny to figure it out

Check your tranny fluid. Mine popped out of fifth and then my tranny went out on me.

A friend of mine has a hatch that does that. It was his clutch

odds are its a shoft fork, a syncro would have to have some odd damage to cause that.
