Default Notchy feeling in shift...

i noticed that when i shift hard there's a notchy feeling going from gear to gear. i tried fixing that by buying shifter bushing, but that didn't help much. is there any thing else i could buy or do so that i can get smoother and more crisp shifts?

Try BG Synchroshift. The shifting seems a bit smoother after I poured it in, kinda costly though.

It costed me $42 for 3 bottles, enough to do 1 tranny fluid change. It's a fully synthetic formula. I'll be doing another flush and fill next week. Here is a pic I just took. BG Synchro Shift II.

What fluid are you using now? Are you sure your synchros aren't going bad?

i used the 10w 30 oil for my tranny. atleast that's what it says that can be used in the honda manual. yea, my synchros are shot too. forgot to mention that.

hope that was 10/30w oil wasnt syn...it wont let the gears engage cuz of lack of friction modifyers..i use a 2 to 1 mix of Redline MTL and BG..next im going try the MTL with MT 90

this seems to really smooth out the shifting..even when its cold

but if sycro s are shot..none of this good tranny blood is going to help much
