Default ECU auto-manual... not the usual question

i pride myself in not having a checkengine light on

now know my automatic ecu will work on a manual... and i've read how to do it on p28's, but does anyone know how to convert the ps9 (90-91 auto civic ex) ecu to manual (basically the same thing as a si ecu)

i need links! and don't just give me pgmfi.com ...i've tried there and searched, every possible site i can think of is barren of useful info

so can it be done? if so how do i?

<is stumped

First off let me just say that I appreciate your avatar!

Now down to business...

Scroll down to the trouble shooting flow chart and that should be of some help.

dood, don't do it. don't kill the ps9. i'll trade ya straight up a pm6 ecu for that ps9. then you wont have to worry about swapping it to manual. same ecu as the ps9, just manual instead of auto.

DO NOT ruin that ps9. Those ecu's are currently being made to run VTEC in a EF using Turbo edit. In other words.. a free ZDyne ecu. Go buy a pm6. (90-91 pm6 only for you)
