Default got a bad vibration

a couple of days ago i noticed a strange vibration/sound. it almost sounds electrical, it shows up at light throttle around 2500-2800 rpm. it shows up again at full throttle all the way across the tach. there is also a noticeable loss in power. just wondering if you guys would have any idea as to what it might be. i really don't wany to hit the dealership to find out$$$. just replaced spark plugs and dist. rotor hoping it would fix it, no such luck.

thanks

only problem is that is robbing me of power at full throttle. it's not a wheel vibration, it's an engine vibration that just started a few days ago.

have you noticed if your tach is screwing up at all??

You might want to check your plugs. Make sure they are gaped correctly.

Also check your grounds. You might want to try adding another ground wire to the head.

yeah, check the gap on the plugh and make sure you tq it down... if you under tq then you could be getting the bibe' from air escaping from the plug. gi ve it a shot

nope, tach's been workin just fine, i'm startin to think it might be the air filter of all things. the vibration only shows up at 2900 rpm and at full throttle above 3500 rpm, correct me if i'm wrong, but don't the second set of butterflys open up about those times?
