I think they are made of aluminum, HAHA, J/K.

Oh really! I was thinking copper! hehe.

I was just wondering about their strength as compared to, say, JE pistons.

yeah, I couldnt resist though. Well, I had a set of Wisecos for a toyota motor and I have to say that they were beefy as hell. The guy from wiseco said they are good for over 30 psi. And he was telling me how all the puerto rican guys use them in there 8 second Corinas and corollas. They were seriously beefy, like they almost looked beefier then the set of JE's I had, but then that was for a Honda Motor.

They are NON Silicon Forged Pistons! We recently put them in my buddy's 1998 Nissan Sentra SE (SR20DE) with the stock rods. It made 363 hp & 325 ft/lb to the wheels @ 19 psi! They are 9.0:1 CR Pistons! He just ran an 11.9 @ 119 mph this weekend here in AZ at the IDRC event! That was with a 2600 lb car with full interior! Great pistons for the money!

$369/set. I am not sure whether they come with the wrist pins for that price though.

Race Engineering has Wiseco make pistons to thier specs! ALL Race Engineering Pistons are made by Wiseco, just like Endyn has Wiseco make pistons to their specs also!

They come with Wrist Pins, but NOT rings! You can get Race Engineering's Rings for like $79.00 or you can get JE/SRP Rings for under $90.00.

They can make you pistons in just about any alloy you want on custom work and copy Je or whatever you want and still are cheap, they produce around here to and the wait isnt that bad either, also Ross pistons have been selling up here like mad recently they are pretty close to bullit proof.

They will only work if you buy aftermarket stock bore pistons, which I would NOT recommend! When rebuilding a motor you should at least over bore .5mm (.020"). Leaving a motor stock bore will cause loose piston-wall tolerances causing excessive blowbye through the rings.

Honda sells overbore rings. If the sleeves are in good shape with almost no wear there is no reason to overbore. A slight hone works fine. It all depends on the mileage of the motor.

Those pistons are that much cheper than JE's are they? So, if I understand you guys correctly, you don't want to get sized pistons that just drop right in? btw I have a 01 GSR, w/10Kmiles
