In my opinion that would be a huge waste of money for u. You already are running 10:6:1 in ur JDM H22 you would only be going up to 11:1 which is not gonna yeild much more power at all. I have that setup, eagle H beams and type-s pistons and if I had to doit over again I would have gone 89mm with a 12:1 compression ratio, this type of setup would have given me much more benefit with the cams I have. For the money you would spend on that piston rod setup u could probably find more power elsewhere. Whats your setup so far?

I have eagle rods and type S Pistons. My justification was that the block I was rebuilding didn't have rods or pistons. I wanted stock rods at first, but after three separate people told me the rods were in the mail, I gave up and bought the cheapest rods I could find, which turned out to be Eagle. If you can find stock rods, preferably from a H22A4, they will work fine with type S pistons. If you have the older rods they need to be bushed for floating pins used by the type S pistons. If you want to use aftermarket rods, the eagles work fine, but I think now there are a few designs out there that are lighter and intended for NA use.

i have heard bad stories about how eagle rods are made, yet never heard of one break in an h series. So for the price i would have bought then had they made an h23 rod. I went with crower, a nice rod, and a little better price then pauter or cunningham
