mahle piston H22 set-up
Hi everyone. I'm in the process of starting a budget build, so i don't want to waste extra money sleeving my block yet. I am looking to bore my block .020 over and using mahle pistons with a thinner head gasket to increase my compression to about 12:1 or 12.5:1 since mahle only makes 11.5:1 highest compression. i'm curious to know if anyone here has had any experience with these pistons on any H set-up, and what there outcome was as far as whp and track times, and how long did it last.

come on someone answer this!
are 11.5:1 mahle gold series pistons good to 12.5:1 compression!?
-this includes new main bearings, thrust bearings, rods .014 head gasket
- also .030? block deck for the added compression

Re: mahle piston H22 set-up
what do you mean "good to"
are you asking if the piston will give way - crack, warp - just because your engine's compression ends up to be higher than what the manufacture's designed CR is for the piston?
