Headgasket choice for boosted H22A1
Ok guys, I have never posted here before but I do see a lot of great tech info on these boards. I am going from a high CR all motor H22 build to a forced induction build. Time to go boost!! I had no problems with my Arias pistons from the other build, so have decided to order some low CR pistons from Arias again. They have shelf pistons for the H22A1 with 87.5 mm bore but they are 8.4:1 CR with stock head and HG (.028 i beleive). Now I would like to get that up to 8.8-9.0:1 if possible. I am having problems locating a two ply steel Head gasket for my application.
What is better? A thinner head gasket (two ply steel or thin copper???) or deck the head to raise the CR a few tenths. Any input would be appreciated.
The block is sleeved, am using eagle rods, and plan on putting up to 20lbs with a T03/T04E.
Thanks.
Duane.

Re: Headgasket choice for boosted H22A1 (Praylewd powr)
Anyone?
Let me know your opinions....I can't seem to find <.028 so I will probably mill the head or deck the block and go with a cometic MLS HG.
