*HELP*

well i just looked at my bumper and i realize it has started to crack

all the bumper is hanging on is the 2 headlights just like a bridge

u c the edge of the headlight and the bumper where the V grille used to be

thats where it cracks cuz the V part is hanging on the headlights!!!

what should i do

Mine is cracked there too, damn FPR sucks compared to urethane. The cracks appeared about a year and a half. I got a quote to fix it (whole bumper has to be painted again) at about 250 bucks, and gaurantee that the cracks will not come back. The cracks won't get worse, I've had mine for more then six months, it happend when I tried to re-align my headlights and put more tension on it.

But its an easy fix.

 

Could this be cause its a knock off. The taiwan stuff is junk. The couple people i know with the real kit have no problems with it.

 

yeah just need to re-inforce / patch it up and paint again...

i dunno why mugen doesnt have a better way of supporting the middle...

Only time mine ever cracked was when car was smacked by an Explorer. Even then I had it fixed locally for $70 and then repainted for $100. Came out perfect.

 

is there supposed to be a support where the middle screw hole is right beside / in front of the latch?

yeah..mine came with a little bracket and fasteners for that front hole..when im back home i can take some pictures

Actually whenever you buy the OEM Mugen front bumper kit it comes with everything to fasten it down. Though the copies won't normally.
