Default front bumper gap help

hey i bought this 95 prelude but the front bumper seems to have a gap the hood and the headlights. i tried to take it off but it was very difficult for me to take the bumper off to replace it with a new one. i took all the obvious screws out but it still dosent come off. if you look closely, there are 2 screws on each side of the bumper under the headlights, is this normal? i cant put my scredriver between that gap to unscrew the plastic screws. some one give me tips or help me take out my front bumper because it look so broke down. thnx. here are the pics:

did ya get the two thru bolts, they end up on the inside by the lights somewhere... it's kinda a weird spot, but when you see it you'll be surprised you missed it. - leave those plastic screws alone.

this site might help ya

It's the Metal bumper support that sags & not the plastic bumper cover. All you have to do is tighten the bolts he is telling you about. If that doesnt do the trick, the bumper cover will have to come off and you will have to loosen all the bolts that are holding the metal support and then have some one pull it up and hold it while you tighten it back up.

The adjustment screw is basically right above the headlights - use a philips to adjust it. If you tighten it, it'll push the headlights up more. So you have to losen it (turn to the left). Hope that helps.

Oh, and i broke those bitches off also. I have extra bumper clips though - just waiting for my bumper to come in.

^^^ Looks to me that the lights are where they should be and don't really need to be adjusted. From the pics above it seems that the bumper itself is sagging (mine is too but not that extreme)

To the original poster,
Take off the bumper lights and look through the front. On each side you should see where the metal support connects, there will be 2 bolts for each side (on mine the pass. side were 13mm, driver's side were 12mm, your's will probably all be 12mm bolts). Also, behind the radiator support you will find 2 nuts (should be 10mm), driver's side is right behind the headlight, pass. side is behind the headlight in front of the battery.

I've had my bumper off a ton lately for running IC pipes. If I can find a pic that actually shows the nuts and bolts, I'll post them for you.

you'll need about an 8 or 10 inch extension to get to the two 12mm bolts on each side. Although from the looks of your bumper they might not even be there...
