VERY VERY VERY Minor rust problem
Alright guys I have a 98 hatch and there are a few spots around the car that have some very minor surface rust(no bubbling, or holes...matter of fact not even close) and the spots are about the size of lets say a dime.
I'm assuming the previous owner scratched the car and i guess the scratched parts rusted. Anyway I was wondering what the best solution is to fix this probelm.
I know most people say to stay away from sanding and applying bondo, but in this case since teh rust spots are so minor and small, isit neccessary to go all out and get it fixed at a shop?
Anyway sorry for the long post but I'm really looking forward to get this **** fixed so please help me out !!!!!!!!!!!
thanks in advance

Do it or get it done now. Get a wire wheel on a drill and go to town to get all the loose crap off and don't be shy here. After that, clean off, have it filled in with weld or a piece of metal depending on new size of hole after the wire wheel. Grind down, lay a light coat of filler. Prime, paint, clear done.
ok i'm kinda confused, r usaying to pretty much sand enuff so that a whole appears? if so I don't think thats neccessary because like I said its very minor like a layer of paint is missing thats how minor it is.
I duno let me know what u mean and thanks a lot for the help
