I'm changing:

Distributor Cap & rotor
Spark Plugs
Spark Plug Wires
Water Pump
Oil Pump
Oil Pan Gasket
TB Gasket
Timing Belt
Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses w/ clamps
Oil (I like sythetic)
Manual Transmission fluid.

since it has 80k on it, i'm assuming the previous owner probably didnt get around to changing the timint belt yet or pulling any major maintenance on it. here's what i suggest from top to bottom:

plug wires
plugs
cam seals(only if replacing cams-if it aint broke, don't fix it)
valve cover gasket
head gasket
oil pump
water pump
timing belt
rear main seal
oil pan gasket
all other belts

you may want to flush the injectors, change radiator hoses if they appear worn. use 10w30 regular oil since you'll be technically breaking the motor back in if you change the seals.

Don't forget about the CLUTCH and IDLER PULLEY (the one on the timing belt).

And if you're going to do any motor upgrades, do it outside the car, too. It's way easier.
