I just bought a jdm d15b vtec, the dist. that came with the motor has a bad coil and igniter and the price for both those parts is more than a whole new dist. i read that a guy on ebay was selling a vx dist and it said it would fit an 92-95 ex,si, so i bought it, didnt want to let it go cause it was cheap. but i heard from a couple of people that it will NOT fit, and it WILL fit. If not, will the coil and igniter in the vx dist. fit the one i got with it? Does anyone know for sure, like dealt with it directly? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

 

Just swap out the guts from the VX one if it doesn't fit. Everything will go over. I used my VX ingnitor and coil on my B16A distributor.

 

My VX dizzy fit my Z6 - Z6 head is a P08, JDM D15B head is a P08. Should bolt right on.

 

i just went to the local honda dealership and talked with a guy in the parts dept. he looked up the dist assembly for the vx and the ex,si. they all pulled the same part # which is td-42u. so well see.
