b16a1 in 91 crx hf. car runs great. but.... when i put my car in reverse i get a engine light and a code 6(coolant temp) when this sensor isnt functioning properly vtec wont kick in. so if i have to go in reverse my vtec shuts off and i get code 6.
so i turn the car off and on again and it fixes it self. then the vtec werks, the engine light on my dash goes away but im still getting a code 6. why the hell do i get an engine light when i put it in reverse??? its so weird

 

do a search this has been covered.. ur have to switch some pins around on the ECU.. only the HF the odd ball has some wierd pin out of place and screws everything up when going into reverse

try some basic things, first thing i'd try is reverse only.. i mean how many topics could have reverse in there.. since the search is gay and u can't do HF swap.. try reverse and wiring for vtec.. or something, i dun no basic key words man.. i'd try and find it for ya, but i'm getting ready to knock the **** out
