Default what is this part???

i need help on identifyin a part of my engine. it is the housing that the drivers side axle goes into, and the its right behind the oil pan. not the transmission but the part to the left of it (if your lookin at it from the bottom). i have a hose/line that comes outta the top of it and i have no idea where it goes. the line isnt quite as small as a vacuum line and not as big as a coolant hose. i can see it on the drivers side with the wheel off. it also has wat looks like a metal insert in it. i have no digi cam or else id take pics. pleeeeeeeeease help

Does the "housing" look like this?

if so check out http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com to see if the parts diagrams show you where this hose/line comes from/goes to.

ATTS automatic torque transfer system. it is just an expensive heavy limited slip differential

Welllll. If you really want to remove that 40lbs I have a spare H23 tranny (see sig) and intermediate shaft ($50) and for $50 I can mill you an adapter plate that will let you mount the intermediate shaft to your ATTS block. So for $350 + shipping you can have a regular trannied fifth gen.

I have all of the measurements for the bracket since I bought a type-s block. That goes for anyone else interested too.
