last night i went home..a lot of times when i get to the light before my house, my idle will only drop down to 1500 when at a complete stop? but last night it dropped down to 1500 then it rose back up to a lil under 2grand?? anyone might know why?

yeah its a stock ecu..i think the guy who own the car before me, ragged the **** out of the car

 

doh Did you inspect the car closely before purchasing? Compression test?

 

yeah it was fine....now it sounds like the valves need to be adjusted already..the car only has 30k on it ...i bought the car from a dealership..but i met the OG owner..and by the way he drove his other car..i know he drove this car to the max

 

Any intake modifications? CAI? TB? IM?

Mine does that routinely after a longer drive... though my regular idle is around 1.2k most of the time. Could be the IACV, I haven't found the need to readjust mine yet...

How long has this occurred on your car? Has it ever done any different?

 

It could be stickly idle-air control valve. Spray some throttlebody cleaner to it and see if it helps.

its done this a couple times after a long drive, but it never rose to 2k before..it will usually dorp to 1.5k and just sit there

 

hmm.. Take it down to SgT for a tuneup and overall checkup..

i got buddys at the local acura im prolly goin to take it to...i would take to sgt but i dont got that kind of money right now lol
