What do I need to not get a check lite at 18psi??
You can use a missing link for that but I wouldn't recommend it. What fuel management do you have? I'm guessing an safc or vafc because you want to cut out the map sensor wear as most stand alones will use the map sensor. Getting into that much boost without accurate tuning can cause you real problems. Just something to think about.
yeah 18psi is a disaster waiting to hapen. be careful. usually standalone doesn't require a missing link. but it does help to use a 3 bar. if you are using a vafc make sure you sell that **** and get hondata s200 with boost. its only 425 shipped from wiredspeedlab.
Assuming you are using the hack you need to raise the fuel pressure in order to get adequate fuel but still stay under the voltage ceiling of the MAP sensor. A low rate FMU should work. I guess you could just get an adjustable regulator and run more pressure all the time but i'm not sure how it would be for out of boost and at idle. If you search on here you will find some good info on this type of modified hack setup...
ya you can do it. Basicly you just add fuel pressure and subtract MAP signal. It is kind of a modified AFC Hack but either way you are using the MAP signal to add fuel under boost rather than bleeding off pressure so the MAP doesn't see boost.
for example - you are running 11 psi and want to run 15. Turn up the fuel pressure up a few psi (or whatever works to keep the A/F right) and subtract more from the afc, maybe -37 for 11psi and -41 for 15psi (again whatever you need to keep the A/f safe)
Obviously this would only work to a certian point but there a guys running over 15 on here with this. It's still pretty cool because you have relatively low fuel pressure and can run twice the boost an FMU/missing link/pump setup can support.
Personally, I'm just gonna get a bigger turbo and run the same psi with 'the hack, classic edition' to make more power.

If your running hondata though do your self a hugh favor. Man up and buy a 3 bar map sensor. Then you can use the sensor to acurately tune the hondata. No tuner worth the money your paying him will tune your hondata without the map sensor. A 3 bar map is only 100.00 so rob your little bro's penny jar do whatever but get the map sensor.

lol, rob my bro's penny jar... Yup I'm going to get the GM 3 bar map sensor for sure. Thanks for everyone's help
