I just installed a t3/t04e turbo and stuff in my stock GSR. I also installed Oil pressure and EGT gauges to monitor my engine status and to see when things go wrong however I don't even know what normal ranges should be? At idle and cruising speeds i.e. 35mph and 80mph, what should my gauges read? My oil pressure seems to vary from 15 psi to about 40 psi and my EGT temps go up to 1350 degrees. Is this normal? Thanks for all the answers

 

my oil pressure is about 15 at idle but rises past 60 when I get on it. My egt's are usually about 1000-1150 cruising. Most of the time when under throttle they stay about 1200ish but if I make a long 3rd or 4th gear pull (80-100mph) they get as high as 1450ish. I don't know what's normal either but this is just what I get.

 

I THINK egts are suppose to stay under 1400f
