Which Insurance Companies will cover all your mods including engine. Like turbo, engine mangament,
I am in the process of swtiching insurance companies. I am want to be sure they cover everything. My insurance company now wont cover any mods that on my motor. Can you give me any suggestions and also what I can expect in the increase of my monthly amount.. i pay 170 now for 94 teg LS...
i think as long as you have receipts for stuff, most companies will cover everything
Any insurance company should oer that stuff as long as you metion it and pay for the added coverage.
It can get expensive though.
Say you claim the turbo at $3500, the engine managment at $1500, rims at $1000 and misc at $1000...thats $7000 in extar coverage! Trust me..it WILL cost you alot.

yeah it is gonna cost you... but you can do it I think progressive even does it.. last time I called them they asked if I had aftermarket parts on the car, but I didnt think the extra money for the insurance was enough for the few parts I had, but look into it it might be worth it...
The turbo alone will kill your rates. Your better off not to mention any of it and take your chances. As long as you live in a decent part of town and park your car in a garage I wouldn't worry about it. Otherwise your insurence company is gonna get rich off you
Well wish me luck.. I am gonna call around tommorow and see what I can find.. I hope I dont get raped!!
I have been checking around all day and most companies wont touch it.. Progressive will only cover up to 5000 and that is with a rider. My rates would be 275 with them.. Nationwide is supposed to call me back.. There I was able to estimate the value of my car but I still dont know what it will cost yet.. I cant find any other companies to cover any mods..Wish me luck

I think most companies will cover things after the fact, but they will not dare admit to covering them before you file a claim...
If the stuff gets stolen and the auto insurance does not cover it... wouldn't homeowners' insurance cover it?

I know that all states homeowners policy will not cover car theft, not to sure about others though.
Just talked to allstate and they said they wont cover engine mods. Does anyone have any input on this? Know of any company's that will?
