Insurance on Turbo'd cars in California...what do you guys pay? is anything different?

Insurance on Turbo'd cars in California...what do you guys pay? is anything different?
My insurance company is state farm. They said that if im caught racing or going above the speed limit...they wont cover me. If i was an insurance company....and i know one of my customers put a turbo on...and he got into an accident....i would try my hardest to link the accident to the turbo. What do you guys think? anyone have this kind of problem? any advice or something to tell them will help a lot. And yes i HAVE to tell them...my dad is making me

Insurance companies are there to take money, not to pay it out.
They will do whatever they can to get out of paying you the money you might deserve.
Your turbo will give them a good excuse. You'll need a lawyer if it ever comes to that. Unless you signed an agreement with State Farm stating that if you install a turbocharger you agree that they will not cover you (and why should they not have to cover you when they cover all the people driving M5's and Vette's and what not).

Whatever they don't know won't hurt em, just don't **** up when driving.
