I have my brothers old gsr block and want to start build a full out motor. Im going with a turbo but need a few pointers and a little advise. For one should i bore the block out or keep it the stock size. Im gonna go with a 9:0:1 compression for my setup though. I know Crower makes a stroker kit also. Would a stroker kit be good. That will make it a 2.1 L. The head is going to have turbo cams and good valvetrain stuff. Im just confused if i should get a stroker kit, bore it out or keep the stock sizes. I have the money to do it any way. So please guide me in the direction of the best turbo setup motor. I think im gonna go with a T66 turbo also. Just so you know, i plan to push some serious boost. u would need to put sleeves in it if u want to bore it out or have the block last if ur going for big hp. if u stroke it on top of boring out, youll have even more displacement. just boring would get u @1.9liters. good start though, sounds like ur on the right track.
