Default Help! Master/Slave hydraulic bleed!

Help.

I just replaced my Master Cylinder for my clutch. Drained all the left over fluid. Filled back up, and when I try to use the clutch, it sticks to the floor. I cannot drive my car, and I had to role my car part way down the street so people in front of me could move. This sucks. I need help now. Well, I know there must be air bubbles in the hydraulic system, I know to take a hose and connect to bleeder screw and submerge in brake fluid until' there is no bubbles. I see in the manuel that the slave, or bleeder screw is near the tranny, but where? Isn't there an easier location where I can do this, or just something else? Please help, I need to drive my car tonight! Thanks...

Here's how you do this. You will need someone to help you. First, fill the reservoir with fluid- then remove the bleeder screw (on the slave cylinder on the front of trans-8mm). As you hold your finger over bleeder hole- have someone push the pedal to the floor, remove your finger and put your finger back over the hole. Raise the pedal, wait 2 seconds, push pedal- release finger, replace finger, pull pedal up- wait 2 seconds, and repeat until brake fluid is squirting out past your finger. Be sure to keep the reservoir full. replace bleeder screw. pump pedal several times- hold pedal to floor- open bleeder- fluid squirts out- close bleeder. repeat until no air comes out. These can be a real bitch to bleed but this method works for me EVERY time and is the quickest way to do it.

Thanks fixhondas you always help with great answers. I did exactly what you just said, it's working great now, I was getting scared for a second, actually for about 30 mintues, I pissed off my neighbors because I was throwing wrenches around the street! hehe...

Now I need a new slave cylinder... Master is replaced... Then, after that, all my car needs is a new engine, haha. It's funny cause it true...
