My clutch is dead, help.
Alright after replacing a leaking master cylinder and slave. I tried to bleed the system or whatever, and absolutely no fluid is coming out, and no fluid is going in, WHAT THE expletive IS GOING ON? my clutch has absolutely no pressure. i've already checked for leaking hose and no leaks anywhere, the fluid just wont go down!! i also checked if the any hose were pinched, and they're all good. wtf is going on?!

no fluid being pumped? all the fluid just sits in your master cylinder reservoir? sounds like a mad reservoir or your clutch pedals on hooked up.

how is no fluid going in? are you sure the little pin thing didnt pop out where the clutch pedal attatches to the master cylinder?

did you prime the master cylinder? some cylinders need to be primed before use. in addition, did you make sure you removed all the dust caps before installing the cylinders? remove each component and check each one for the ability to pump.

open the bleader on the slave, fill the master, pump a few times intill you get fluid out the bleeder without runing the master out, leave the pedel up and it should run out the bleeder by gravity for a minute or so (or intill you dont see anymore bubbles) close the bleeder. get someone to pump the pedel a few times then hold it down and you open the bleeder, close the bleeder lift the pedel repet untill no air comes out with the fluid. if you run it out of fluid you will have to start all over. If you have a reverse bleeder kit(I dought you do) open the bleeder screw and pump the handle with the cap off.

i dont think i have to prime it because the other day when just replacing the master cylinder, and bleeding it, everything worked fine, the clutch just wasn't springing all the way back up, thats when i saw the slave was leaking also, so ichanged that and now when i try tobleed it, nothing happens.
and how do i "prime" it?

there is air in the line somewhere and you need to elevate the nose of the car higher then the rear.... just a suggestion... so the air bubbles will go out....

Did you bench bleed both the clutch and master cylinder?
Have you checked to make the the slave cylinder is making good contact?

to prime, disconnect your line from the slave. poor fluid into the master and start slowly pumping the pedal. the fluid should work its way and squirt out of the line. once that has been done, reconnect it and bleed it as normal. if you have no fluid coming out, then you need to yank the master back out and find out why there is no fluid coming down... pour fluid in the master and pump it without any lines connected to it, it should squirt fluid right out of the line connection to the slave. if it doesnt, you have a bad master.
